Local elections are taking place across 230 councils in England on Thursday 4 May 2023, and this will include Singleton.
Singleton’s polling station will be at the Village Hall.
This election will be different in that this time you will need to bring photo ID to be able to vote at the polling station. A wide range of photo ID will be accepted, including passports, driving licences and cards with a PASS Mark.
If you don’t have an accepted form of photo ID, you can apply for a free voter ID document known as a Voter Authority Certificate. To get this visit electoralcommission.org.uk/voterID or call 0800 328 0280.
So, please don’t forget to bring your photo ID with you or your Voter Authority Certificate.
Verena Henderson, Clerk to Singleton Parish Council
