Cllr Matthew Lee has been in contact with BT who are upgrading the Poulton-le-Fylde exchange in June 2013. He asked when Singleton’s Broadband reception would be improved. Although disappointing as to the time-scale, as we are looking at June 2014, Government funding has been made available though BDUK and this has been taken up by Lancashire County Council and will include Singleton. Fibre optics will be brought to people’s houses, as opposed to an exchange, which hopefully will improve reception immensely for residents.
